As part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, we support missionaries throughout the world through the Great Commission Fund and through direct giving. Missionaries’ most important needs are met through continuous prayer.

Michael and Joanne Hope

Michael and Joanne Hope minister in Kyiv, Ukraine. Their areas of focus have been serving the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Kyiv and church planting. In 2022, they’re ministering in the midst of war, and they’re seeing a remarkable interest in the Gospel.
Q: How did we come to know the Hopes?
A: Michael grew up in Chula Vista! He attended Chula Vista Alliance Church (same address as South Bay Christian Alliance) and served on its pastoral staff. The Hopes come back to Chula Vista when on home assignment.

A: Becky lived in Chula Vista while she was working on her Master's at Point Loma Nazarene.
That Family

‘That family’ is in Spain, ministering to the Muslim population. They’re seeing God answer prayer in mirculous ways! Muslims are giving their lives to Jesus, and He is transforming their lives. Due to the sentive nature of their minsitry, we don’t publically list ‘that family’s’ names, but we’re more than happy to tell you about them in person.

A: ‘That family’ visited our church while they were in America for a year. We heard all that God is doing in their midst and we can’t wait to hear more.
